I work in two capacities at Equity, brokerage sales and leasing, and general business development for the entire platform which includes Development, Construction, Brokerage, Property Management, and Finance.

Patrick Ford Wathen

I joined the family business as a laborer on a construction site as a junior in high school and have been with Equity ever since. Following graduation from Miami University with a finance degree in 2007 I went directly into the brokerage. Within 5 years my team had completed transactions in over 40 states and was the top producing team in Equity's history. In 2014 we launched Equity Velocity Funds (EVF) to invest in healthcare and retail projects both ground up development and acquisitions. Brokerage and deal making experience across asset classes has allowed EVF to generate superior risk adjusted returns as we are much more hands on than a typical PE investor. With brokerage, property management, asset management, development, and a construction company Equity and Equity Construction Solutions can assist with every stage of the commercial real estate lifecycle.
