Networking & Social Events

The Conway Center hosts a variety of enjoyable social gatherings throughout the year that help members cultivate meaningful connections. These informal settings often spark some of the most productive experiences, creating space for relationship building, idea sharing, and the emergence of new opportunities.

FAMILY BUSINESS SHOWCASE

The Conway Center connects family business members through engaging events that build relationships and promote a strong sense of community. The Family Business Showcase offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how local family businesses have grown and succeeded. Experience business firsthand through tours, conversation, and informal networking while exploring their success stories, operational strategies, and future goals in an open, interactive format.

On Thursday, April 9, 2026, Sean and Chris Cullinan of CityScapes welcomed Conway Center members for an inside look at its journey. Founded in 1987, CityScapes is a second-generation, family-owned business specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of innovative architectural products.  Guests enjoyed food and drinks while taking a behind-the-scenes tour of their manufacturing facility.

 

GOLF OUTING

Grab your clubs for our 12th annual Golf Outing at the Golf Club of Dublin on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Experience the Midwest's only true links-style course featuring hand-stacked sod bunkers, fescue turf, and water on nearly every hole.

Enjoy a shotgun start at 9am, grilled lunch at the turn, hand-crafted mimosas at Hole #7, and a buffet reception following golf at 2pm. With professional mobile scoring through Golf Genius, beverage carts roaming the course, and great prizes for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Best Team Score, it's the perfect blend of friendly competition and relaxed networking.

EVENT UPDATE as of 7am 6/21: It may be a little wet at times today but our plans are to play! We will monitor the radar throughout the day and have everyone return to the clubhouse/banquet area if we need to stop play due to threatening weather. We look forward to seeing you soon, registration check-in begins at 11am. Join us at our 7th Annual Golf Outing at the beautiful Little Turtle Golf course! Featuring new club renovations and a brand new fleet of carts (with coolers on each!), the course offers challenging play for golfers at every skill level. Join us for our Spring Family Business Networking event at Oakland Nursery! Come learn the history of this 80 year-old family business, while meeting and chatting with family business members. Held at the original store on Oakland Park Avenue - in the garden of Gustav & Bertha Reiner's house (at the rear of the garden center). VIEW map, parking and entrance directions.
