Networking & Social Events

The Conway Center offers several enjoyable social interactions throughout the year that allow members to build strong relationships. We believe that some of the most productive experiences are created in less formal group settings where relationships can be built, ideas shared, and new opportunities hatched.

GOLF OUTING

Our 11th annual Golf Outing was held at the Golf Club of Dublin on Tuesday, July 25, 2025. Despite the blazing temperatures, it was a tremendous success - bringing together Conway Center members and business partners for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and plenty of sunscreen! The heat was no match for the enthusiasm of the 115 golfers, who later relaxed and enjoyed a buffet reception with raffles and prizes.

THANK YOU to all the players, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. Mark your calendar for next year as we return to the Golf Club of Dublin on June 22, 2026!

FAMILY BUSINESS SHOWCASE

The Conway Center hosts a variety of events to bring members together and build stronger connections between current and prospective members. A favorite event is the Family Business Showcase. Every year, family businesses host this event to share what has made their business successful, how they operate, and what their plans are for the future.

On May 8, 2025, The Cleary Company hosted our Family Business Showcase in celebration of more than 30 years of design-build remodeling in Central Ohio.

Those attending enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and drinks while touring the beautiful indoor/outdoor space. Founder George Cleary and son George Cleary II were gracious hosts to the family business members and community leaders who attended.

Join us for our Spring Family Business Networking event at Oakland Nursery! Come learn the history of this 80 year-old family business, while meeting and chatting with family business members. Held at the original store on Oakland Park Avenue - in the garden of Gustav & Bertha Reiner's house (at the rear of the garden center). VIEW map, parking and entrance directions. This is an outdoor event held rain or shine from 4-6:30 pm, a brief company presentation will be held at 5:30 pm. Free for Conway Center members and invited guests, but please RSVP. EVENT UPDATE as of 7am 6/21: It may be a little wet at times today but our plans are to play! We will monitor the radar throughout the day and have everyone return to the clubhouse/banquet area if we need to stop play due to threatening weather. We look forward to seeing you soon, registration check-in begins at 11am. Join us at our 7th Annual Golf Outing at the beautiful Little Turtle Golf course! Featuring new club renovations and a brand new fleet of carts (with coolers on each!), the course offers challenging play for golfers at every skill level. Register even if you are not part of a foursome - we'll put you on a team! Great prizes will be awarded for Longest Drive, Longest Putt, Closest to the Pin, and Best Team Score! Join the Conway Center for Family Business during Columbus Young Professionals Week on Thursday, July 29, for conversation and cocktails featuring rising leaders from Central Ohio businesses who will share their stories, experiences, and aspirations as the next generation of leadership.
