The Conway Center hosts a variety of enjoyable social gatherings throughout the year that help members cultivate meaningful connections. These informal settings often spark some of the most productive experiences, creating space for relationship building, idea sharing, and the emergence of new opportunities.

FAMILY BUSINESS SHOWCASE

The Conway Center connects family business members through engaging events that build relationships and promote a strong sense of community. A member favorite, the Family Business Showcase, offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how local family businesses have grown and succeeded. Experience business firsthand through tours, conversation, and informal networking while exploring their success stories, operational strategies, and future goals in an open, interactive format.

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, Rebecca Hurd, Partner & CEO of Graves Piano will provide an inside look at its journey of over 65 years as Central Ohio's beloved hub for piano lovers and musicians, and as the area's exclusive Steinway & Son's dealer.

Enjoy hors d' oeuvres and drinks while touring the space as Rebecca shares the company's unique leadership transition - how a new family took the baton for the future, while honoring the legacy of the Graves family, with Zach Graves remaining a partner.

Come see how Graves 2.0 is innovating for the future so that the music can play on! This Showcase from 4:30 - 6:00 pm is FREE for Conway Center members and those in our community interested in family business, but please RSVP.

GOLF OUTING

Our 11th annual Golf Outing was held at the Golf Club of Dublin on Tuesday, July 25, 2025. Despite the blazing temperatures, it was a tremendous success - bringing together Conway Center members and business partners for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and plenty of sunscreen! The heat was no match for the enthusiasm of the 115 golfers, who later relaxed and enjoyed a buffet reception with raffles and prizes.

THANK YOU to all the players, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. Mark your calendar for next year as we return to the Golf Club of Dublin on June 22, 2026!

John and Angela Petro are excited to invite you to the High Line Car House for the Together & Company Family Business Showcase. The Family Business Showcase, open to Central Ohio's family businesses and community leaders, offers an inside view of members organizations and the opportunity to hear from the families who run them. Together & Company, a full-service catering and events company, began in 1997 as Two Caterers and has grown to provide much more than box lunches. Hear the story of how Angela Petro and a friend kicked off their business by giving away coffee and menus at traffic lights - and grew to the complete hospitality company of today, going “all in” with John joining the business just six months before the onset of the Covid pandemic. The Petros brand of vulnerability in storytelling will remind us of the importance of building for the future while allowing ourselves the space to pivot as needed. Guests can expect the full hospitality treatment with hors d’ oeuvres, beer, wine and N/A beverages and tours of the recently renovated High Line Car House, including insights on the historic 1870’s building they call home. ... read more
