Event Description:
Understanding your Leadership DNA
According to a survey of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Advisory Council, self-awareness ranks as the single most important competency for effective leadership. Yet, groundbreaking research by organizational psychologist Tasha Eurich reveals a stark gap: while 95% of people believe they are highly self-aware, only 10–15% truly are. This widespread overestimation often fuels strained relationships at work and contributes to toxic workplace cultures.
This session dives into two foundational pillars of self-awareness: a clear understanding of your own behavioral drives and your level of emotional intelligence (EQ). John Broer, Principal and Co-Founder of Real Good Ventures, will guide participants in recognizing why leaders and managers must prioritize this essential skill to uncover their true Superpowers (unique strengths) and Kryptonite (potential derailers).
Drawing from decades of hands-on experience applying validated scientific assessments and diagnostic tools with leaders, John will share practical strategies to cultivate deeper self-awareness. Attendees will discover proven tools for enhancing emotional intelligence, enabling them to better adapt to workplace challenges, respond more effectively, and show up as more impactful, supportive leaders.

♦ As an added feature for this webinar, John Broer is making available to all participants a chance to complete the behavioral assessment from The Predictive Index (PI). This is one of the tools Real Good Ventures uses as part of larger talent optimization initiatives, and you are welcome to complete it as an enhancement to this webinar. Click HERE to take the assessment.
The PI assessment will take you less than 10 minutes to finish and your results will be sent to your email immediately thereafter. If you have ever completed the PI assessment in the past and have your original results, there is a section where you can upload those results using the ID number from your original report (in small print right below the Synthesis graph). It is best practice to work from your original PI results.
