Name: SMART Columbus: Paving the Way in Central Ohio
Date: August 17, 2016
Time: 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM EDT
Event Description:

Presented by the Columbus Chamber and Columbus Region Logistics Council

Columbus has been selected as the recipient of the Smart Cities grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Being named America’s Smart City will mean access to jobs for all residents, smart multimodal logistics for moving people and a free sustainable transportation system that will lead us into the future.

Join us as we discuss how we will leverage the future of federal highway and technology grant funding to complement the SMART Cities grant and review major roadway construction projects and the freight flow of the future. We will also provide an overview of SMART Columbus, focusing on delivering improved freight movement and reliability.
